Welcome to my website!! I have put together this website to describe my teaching and other professional musical activities. I have always had a passion for teaching and perpetuating the art of piano playing to all students. Aside from teaching privately, I have been teaching music literature courses on the college level. This has proved to be another source of enrichment: making great masterpieces of music understandable to college aged students. I also present solo, collaborative and lecture-recitals in the New England region and other locations.
I believe that expressing oneself about music can also take the form of the written word. I have had articles published on a wide array of musical topics which can be viewed in their entirety in the articles section. Lastly, there are some photos which have important significance; a photo at the Pleyel Harpsichord which was created by the harpsichordist Wanda Landowska (1979-1959). I was happy to have become a friend of her secretary, Denise Restout (1915-2003). This photo was taken before the Landowska collection in Lakeville, CT, was donated to the Library of Congress. There is also a photo with one of the great pianists of the century, Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha (1923-2009) whose artistry has been a continuous source of inspiration throughout my musical life. This photo was taken after having a coaching with Mme. de Larrocha in Barcelona.
I hope you enjoy the website and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!!!!!
